Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services for an FMLA leave coverage assignment in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive school environment and help students develop the communication skills necessary for academic and social success.

Position Details

• Full-time, onsite position

• FMLA leave coverage assignment

• Immediate/ASAP start

• Assignment runs through January 8, 2027

• School-based setting

• Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments

• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students

• Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings

• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers

• Support students with speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and communication needs

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district special education requirements

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license required

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) preferred or eligible

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
